How to Choose Filament Materials for Hairbrushes

Three Steps to Accurate Material Selection

l  Step 1: Select by Temperature

For Room Temperature Use: Choose PA6 fiber.

For Hairdryers (≤150℃): Opt for PA66 fiber.

For High-Temperature Styling (>160℃): Select PA46 fiber.

l  Step 2: Select by Hair Type

For Fine, Soft Hair: Use the soft PA6 fiber.

For Thick, Coarse Hair: Choose the rigid PA46 fiber.

l  Step 3: Avoid Common Pitfalls

Do not choose PA6 fiber for low-temperature environments. Compared to nylon66 and nylon46 fibers, nylon6 fiber is prone to brittleness and breakage.

Be cautious of high-temperature resistant label without material specification, maybe this may indicate low-quality PBT Filament.
